- The Greensville Volunteer Rescue Squad is made up of almost 40 dedicated volunteer members, supplemented by career providers
- We serve a population of 11,000 residents
- We have provided pre-hospital emergency care since 1963
- GVRS has one station centrally located in the City of Emporia
- We donate over 8,000 hours of community service every year
